Scope of Aviation Industry
The aviation sector growing at a fast pace. Due to this, the number of aircrafts being used is on the
rise and so is the need for pilots, ground staff and cabin crew. The
aviation sector would require 7,500-8,000 pilots and an equal number
more air cabin crew by 2012. Heavy pay packets are being given away to
pilots having a commercial pilot license (CPL).
The aviation
industry is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 25%
till 2012. Also, by 2012 Indian airports will be handling between 90
and 100 million passengers per year, as against the current 34 million
passengers

Airport Authority of India (AAI) manages a total of 127 airports in the
country, which include 13 international airports, 7 custom airports, 80
domestic airports and 28 civil enclaves. There are over 450 airports
and 1091 registered aircrafts in the country.The
Indian Economy is booming with a steady pace for quite some time. With
this many job opportunities are being created in various domains. The
Aviation industry is one such domain. In early days, scope of a career
in this sector was very limited. But now, due to the arrival of a
number of domestic and international Airlines with cheap airfares, the
need for airline staff has risen.
